DARTS ( Dial a Ride Transportation for Seniors) – Fulton County Must register first through the STAR line at 404-613-6000. Will take passengers to any location (non-medical) including grocery store, library, etc.

DeKalb Senior Link Transportation: 770-322-2950 Transportation is available to fixed route locations (Senior Centers) and to Medical appointments (her appt with you may qualify for this if you are providing counseling). However there is a WAIT LIST.

TOPS (Transportation Options Program for Seniors): 770-993-1906 ext 234 this program is also handled through SSNF. Transportation to Medical or other Healthcare Appointments.

MARTA L VAN- If medical condition limits her she may be able to qualify for MARTA Mobility- she can apply by following the steps on this webpage It is $4 one way so it is much more affordable than a taxi and is door to door. Also- there is no restriction on your destination.

GATE Transportation Voucher Program
For residents of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Mountain Park, Roswell, or Sandy Springs who are 60+, unable to drive or access public transportation. Call Candace Kortovich, Mobility Manager Senior Services North Fulton, 770-993-1906, ext. 242, to set up an interview. All participants and transportation providers will be personally interviewed before being accepted into the program

Cobb County Paratransit – Free/Reduced cost passes available through Cobb County Senior Services for those 55+, are residents of Cobb County, have valid GA ID, and CCT Paratransit ID. AARP Driver Safety Program
The AARP Driver Safety course is available in classroom and online settings.
One may be eligible to receive an insurance discount upon completing the course, so consult your agent for details. You might also be eligible to receive a discount on roadside assistance plans. Founded in 1979, AARP Driver Safety has helped millions of drivers stay safe on the roads. Although the course is geared to drivers age 50 and older, the course is open to people of all ages. AARP membership is not required to take the course and there are no tests to pass.
The classroom course costs only $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. The cost for the online course is $15.95 for AARP members and $19.95 for non-members.*
